Solo acts formed from two separate sides of the popular city of New Orleans which is divided by areas with different local cultures come together to form a hip-hop trio called UpTownDownTown put together by Grammy Nominated, 2Xs BMI Award Winning Legendary Super Producer BlaqNmilD and also 6 War Pook, a local rapper from the downtown side of the city (6 WARD). Blaq and Pook got with Juvenile of Cash Money Records Former UTP Records Artist UTP Skip who's from the uptown part of the city (17th WARD) known for the hit record NOLIA CLAP feat. Wacko and Juvenile. Together they decided to from a compilation album featuring other artist from both sides of the city. BlaqNmilD is from uptown and really the creator and brains behind the movement as he produced every track and come up with the topic to each track. By The Third Album 6 War Pook died of cancer leaving Blaq an Skip to recruit RAW DIZZY who's from downtown (9th WARD) an known for being in a group with YMCMB Lil Wayne called (The Squad) also known for his hit record (Work Ya Elbow an DownTown).
The trio started working on the fourth album an got with Mr. Meana of a local legendary group out of the city who's know in the southern region for countless hit records, PARTNERS-N-CRIME. Mr. Meana is responsible for managing the group and help organize the features on the tracks by bringing in most of the hottest young artist coming up from different areas of New Orleans cause the mission was to get mainly the younger guys involved on this fourth album.
